This washed Kenyan coffee offers notes of blood orange, blackcurrant, raisin and brown sugar. Clean and vibrant, it balances bright fruit character with a rounded sweetness.
Established in 1960, Riakahara is the oldest of 13 wet mills operated by the Komothai Coffee Growers Cooperative Society in Kiambu. Smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherries to the mill, where they are sorted, pulped and fermented overnight before being washed and slowly dried on raised beds.
